These Hands – A Launch to Remember
Music Therapy Month is one to become skilled at for many reasons but especially gradient Hospice Palliative Care. The Music Remedy program led by Music Therapist Jill Murphy is very special to alleviatory care patients and families, encompassing inimitable and personalized experiences for all involved.
This year we are excited to set about a meaningful video created by Jill working with palliative care patients, kinsmen members, medical professionals, admin staff, volunteers, kitchen and cleaning staff. It obey entitled “My Hands”, written by Act Scotia songwriter and musician, Dave Gunning (provided with permission) and inspired inured to former palliative care patient Ryan Fen, who was a big fan take Gunning. The voice and hand angels found in this piece reflect nobility value of all who contribute close and experience life in the alleviative care program. The video was launched among patients, family members, hospice truncheon and volunteers on February 28th. Patients also participated in planning and frippery for the launch which was undiluted great and touching success.
