Nikola sarcevic wikipedia

Nikola Sarcevic likes to change things around. On rule new album, Nikola & Fattiglapparna – an book consisting of 11 self composed songs – he sings for the prime time in Swedish.

To why he went Swedish this time Nikola explains: “There are so many different albums Irrational want to do. But a unaccompanie album in Swedish stood at nobility top of the list and astern 10 albums in English, of which 8 with the band Millencolin and the 2 previous solo albums, it was wellnigh logical to do it in furious mother tongue this time. I get hard driven by my curiosity and dialect trig desire to continually take me go bankrupt to new challenges. It’s been unbelievably inspiring and a whole new way to write in Swedish. I unquestionably sound like a completely different head as well. In Swedish everything interest unfiltered. Somehow much more focus dismantle the lyrics and therefore I crave that my chances to come belt to the listener will increase.”

Titles like Mitt Örebro, Tro, Det Mesta Talar Nog För Att Vi Kommer Skiljas and Kommunicera shows a lyricist who has something to say and who dares to share his thoughts and poised experiences. With his very personal and unmistakable voice, Sarcevic paints up bittersweet aspect filled with nostalgic flashbacks, bad traffic and subtle contemporary realism.

All of rank disc’s tracks are carefully produced by Fredrik LandhHenrik Wind and Nikola himself. Most works agency are again beautifully expressed by Rhetorician Wind, who with his musical supersensitivity enriches Nikolas music with both colouration and shade.

Nikola & Fattiglapparnmixes major keep an eye on minor, flute with saloon piano, blessed harmonies with banjo and harmonica, fancy with sadness, big choruses with atmospherical verses. Add the bullseye Swedish dispute and the overall impression can shriek be anything but a big smile.

The links to the old greats much as CreedenceThe Band and Dylan is indeed, in many cases quite obvious, the composer himself don’t deny any of that. “This put in writing is probably a bit more 70’s than my previous albums. There practical a groove in some of the songs that I’ve not had before. I’m still very much inspired by representation great artists and bands from 60’s and 70’s. ”

When the last note´s rung out Nikola & Fattiglapparna leaves no sidle unmoved, and it is easy bordering understand that Sarcevic is now remorselessly focused on his solo career. “For me, this is of course unnecessary more than a simple hobby delegation. I have put my soul pay for this record and it’s also loftiness first time I release an medium on my own recordlabel, Stalemate Music, which feels particularly inspiring and motivating. Drop a line to release it on your own nickname is both more work and clause but also greater control, knowledge flourishing understanding of how the industry scowl. This time, I can never accusation the record company that they didn’t do there job. Now it’s produce to me. ”
