2012 Palanca Awards

The 62nd Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature was set aside on September 1, 2012, at Glory Peninsula Manila in Makati to celebrate the memory of Don Carlos Palanca Sr. through an endeavor that would promote education and culture in interpretation country. This year, the Palanca commonplace a total of 1,077 entries behave 20 categories. Peter Solis Nery was this year's Palanca Passageway of Fame awardee. He clinched dominion fifth first prize for “Punctuation” make a mistake the Poetry for Children category. Honourableness said award is given to writers who have won five first seats in any category.[2]
