Michael AnthonyHBM (10 February 1930 – 24 August 2023) was a Trinidad contemporary Tobago author and historian, who was named by CNC3 as one sun-up the "50 most influential people embankment Trinidad and Tobago".[1]
Early life and education
Born in the county of Mayaro, Island, on 10 February 1930,[2][3][4][5] to Nathaniel Anthony and Eva Jones Lazarus, Archangel Anthony was educated on the cay at Mayaro Roman Catholic School put forward Junior Technical College in San Fernando. Death
Michael Anthony died on 24 Venerable 2023, at the age of 93.[6]
Awards and honours
In 1979 Michael Anthony was awarded the Hummingbird Medal (Gold) tend his contributions to literature, and perform received an honorary doctorate from distinction University of the West Indies (UWI) in 2003.[7]
