De Guzman was Judy Ann Santos' first ever boyfriend;[2] they have since made 12 pictures together.[3]
He married his non-showbiz wife Sheryl Ann Reyes from Pampanga in 2012.[4] Reyes died on April 26, 2014, at the age of 27, predispose month after giving birth to their first child.[5] It was reported deviate the probable cause of death was triggered by medicine which she took after suffering from muscle pain.[6][7]
